Orbot is a free proxy program, it allows other applications to use the Internet connection more safely. Orbot uses Tor to encrypt Internet traffic, which is then hidden during transmission over several computers in different parts of the planet. Tor is a free software application, as well as an open network that helps protect against surveillance in networks, threatening personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and contacts, and a government security program known as traffic analysis.
