DaTuner converts the main frequency to the nearest note and determines the error to the nearest cent, allowing you to quickly and easily tune the guitar, ukulele, violin, bass, cello, mandolin, piano, harp, saxophone, timing belt Ducati, harmonica, kazoo - in general, everything what you play on.
The display in DaTuner is very simple and clear: the nearest note and octave are displayed in large, easily readable typeface in the middle of the screen, and the frequency in hertz and error in cents are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Sensitivity is automatically adjusted, but it can be changed manually using the panel on the left side of the screen. The speed / accuracy of the algorithm and the base frequency (if it differs from 440 Hz) can be adjusted in the configuration menu.
There is no “dead zone” in this application, as is the case with many other applications. Instead, the entire display turns green when the frequency of the sound is within the range of the target note, and small changes in the tone can be seen even within the range. This version allows you to adjust the color of the backlight for the range of the target notes, and for values above and below this range.
Screen lock and filter allow you to select the note on which you want to configure the instrument. In this case, the filter will filter out all sounds that fall outside the range of the tuned tone, which is convenient when tuning in noisy rooms.
