Its main goal is to quickly read at a glance time with more than a minute resolution - so it updates the hourly time every 20 seconds, not just once per minute.
Additional screen updates do not lead to a noticeable drain on the battery (no more than 5%). It also works and looks great on the Sony SmartWatch 3 thanks to the transflective CAM. It is not suitable (burning out protection may not be enough) for OLED.
There are some customizable options: 12/24 hour modes, white on black or inverted, font size and font style, contour (due to background support), and a few other things to switch (date, second, top battery environment line) .
Every day watch also allows you to have your own background hours. Just share any image on your phone with “Everyday Watch Face” and it will be set as a background.
