As you know Chess is one of the oldest strategic games in the world.
Chess is an excellent board logic game that develops such skills as tactics, strategy, and visual memory.
I tried to create an application that allows a player of any level to enjoy the game.
Figures:
- A pawn moves one field forward or two fields in the first move of this figure, beats diagonally one field forward.
- The king moves one field vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
- The queen moves to any distance vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
- The rook goes to any distance vertically or horizontally.
- A horse walks on a field that is on two fields vertically and one horizontally or one field vertically and two horizontally.
- An elephant walks any distance diagonally.
The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king.
- Shah - the situation in chess, when the king is under attack.
- Mat - the situation in chess, when the king is under check and the player does not have a single move, which allows to eliminate this check.
- Pat - the situation in chess, when a player with his turn turns has no opportunity to make a single move according to the rules, but the king of the player is not under check, this situation is called pat (a draw).
Two special moves in Chess:
- Castling is a double move, which is performed by the king and rook, which have never gone.
- A capture on the aisle is a move in which a pawn can take on an opponent’s pawn, if it jumped over a field that was hit by a pawn.
