Instead of a video player, select VEGA Cast in the list of applications to send a video to Chromecast.
VEGA Cast is adapted to broadcast video from popular video services. (vimeo, ustream, vkontakte, megogo, rutube, twitch, ...)
In the android clients of these sites, click share / send via VEGA Cast.
You can send a page with video from a browser to VEGA Cast - the application will detect videos from the main online video resources on the page.
You can watch most of the online broadcasts of TV channels in the format hls (* .m3u8).
