This application uses a lunar surface simulation created by the NASA Lunar Reconnaissance mission.
Hold the moon in your hand with this amazing 3D simulation of the moon phases and real-time updates. Rotate the moon back and forth through its phases. The application displays all the necessary information: the sunrise / sunset of the moon, the illumination, the name of the current phase, the sign of the zodiac, the distance and the age. All this in an elegant interface. There is also a monthly calendar in which you can see how the moon changes every month.
You can smoothly drag the phase with your finger, or even make the moon rotate with a quick movement.
