HOW IT WORKS.
The program offers you a word in Russian and a sentence with this word. You need to answer how the word in the current context should be translated into English.
If you answered correctly, the program will praise you. If you suddenly make a mistake, it will prompt the correct answer and show a word card.
In any case, you will be shown the English version of the proposal.
You get points for the correct answers, for not the right ones - they are written off.
Different forms of words are studied and counted in statistics independently. For example, according to I and me, see and saw, counting is done separately.
The word card can be viewed by selecting the appropriate menu item.
The process of learning words begins with the program recruiting 15 words from its vocabulary and starts displaying them in a random order.
After the word goes into the “repeatable” group, the next word is extracted from the dictionary.
Repeat after 1, 2 and 3 days. The time when the replay will be shown is always calculated from the time of the previous answer.
If you answer correctly for all repetitions, the word goes into the group “learned” and will no longer be offered.
If you looked at the word card from the replay group, then you go back a step.
For example, if you were offered a word in 2 days and you looked at a word card, then this word will again be offered the next day.
VOCABULARY
At the moment, the dictionary of the program contains more than 1500 most used English words, as well as words used in the program "Polyglot".
Irregular verbs are presented in the first and second forms. Scoring for each form is independent. Words in the dictionary are arranged in order of study.
SOUND
For voice acting system settings are used. In the device settings, you must select the engine for speech synthesis. Try to listen to an example.
